Bee Rock is one of my favorite places to visit in TN. This small tree is perched right on the edge of this giant weathered rock formation, overlooking a tree-filled valley.
Here is a link to my other Bee Rock Painting (4/8/11).

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI have family from Monterey, Tennessee and from a very young age I've been drawn to Bee Rock. No matter the time of year it's beautiful to me. My Mamaw and myself wish to have our ashes rest there. I just wanted to let you know, seeing the tree, the same tree I've taken many photos of through your eyes and not a camera lens reared me up. I miss that little stereo typical southern town, but not as much as my family living and otherwise ( my Papaw) from Monterey.
Again, thank you.

Thank you so much for your comments! I am just now reading them. I also have family in TN, and Bee Rock is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I am in TN--it's so beautiful at any time of the year. I just love this little tree, clinging to the side of the cliff.
