Last weekend we visited Lake of the Woods forest preserve in Mahomet, IL. The wildflowers were in full bloom! I took a ton of great pictures--many of which I hope to paint. Here's a pic of me photographing some purple trillium.

Wonderful work. I need to get to work on something myself. Do you do any of this en plein air, or do you work from photographs? The bugs are starting to come out now.
ReplyDeleteI only ever paint from photos. I don't have a good portable set-up for out door work and I don't paint fast enough to work with the changing light!
