Birch Forest in Autumn (2015), 12 x 16"
This painting is based on a photo taken by my sister while on vacation in Russia! Russia is, apparently, covered in the most luscious, magical looking birch forests, and lots of Russian folk art features birch trees. I am in love with their white stripey bark and tall, straight trunks.
