May Apple and Trillium are two of my favorite mid-western woodland
wildflowers. I love how demure and unassuming they both are, and how
you have to get down on their level to appreciate them. This is
especially true in the case of the may apple which is usually hidden by
an umbrella-like canopy of two giant leaves. Prints of this painting are available at my Etsy shop
